I gave GMAT once before I started working with Sachin and my score was 680. Within a span of 3 weeks Sachin was able to scale my score to 740. I think Sachin has been very instrumental in understanding my weaknesses and helped me to focus on those areas. Three areas in which Sachin helped me a lot were: First, time management for verbal section; Second, stress management during the exam, specifically RCs. Third, attempting sentence correction with more accuracy and less time. Being mentored by Sachin has been truly helpful to me.
I had tried to do the test three times, by myself and in a group setting and failed terribly.... then I decided to work with Sachin, my sister had recommended him, she had worked with him in person and swore he is the best!
Well long story short he was wonderful , not only can he explain concepts very well in plane English but also is personally invested in your success! He actually cares that you stick to a timeline, finish your applications and ultimately get in the school you want! The online class was not an issue at all, he had a great program that was like a whiteboard so I could do what he is writing- that was very helpful!
I am one of those guys who pursued his Masters a little later than others. I was 35, and I must say I was less confident about my ability to learn at that age. I underestimated Sachin's teaching ability when I signed up with him for GMAT prep, and doubted his skills and ability to cater to the needs of an older student. But I was so wrong. Sachin blew me away with his teaching style and technique. With his approach, not only did he bring back my confidence, but he also helped me excel and make exponential progress in my preparation. He went above and beyond his role as a tutor, and guided me in my overall journey towards pursuing my Masters. I still look up to him -- as my guide, my friend, and my best teacher to date. Seven years later, I would not be where I am without Sachin's support, training, and guidance.
I have been struggling with GMAT prep for past 2 years. I tried everything from self-study via Manhattan and official guides to doing prep courses from premier institutes like TIME, and E-GMAT. However, still my GMAT scores were just average. Also, at this stage, because of repeated failures, I even lost my complete confidence in acing GMAT.
Fortunately, last year in July, I came to know about Sachin. He’s the first one who made me realize the importance of developing a right mindset towards attempting GMAT questions. Unlike other tutors his teaching is much more personalised as per the student’s learning aptitude.
He took it step by step, He understood what is my natural response to a question, and convinced me with thorough discussion that where I’m going wrong. With his practice exercises, I was able to develop the needed intuition for solving GMAT questions.
